A great article on some redesigns of classic characters. I particularly like his notes on the X-Men. I’ve always thought the X-Men being a team, but sporting different costumes, was pretty dumb. Ok we need to know who’s who, so we’ll give them different costumes. But good character design means you should be able tor recognize the characters even without their clothes, which is something the 90s X-Men didn’t seem to grasp.
